I was born and grew up in Okinawa – a semi-tropical island in the south of Japan. I came to the UK with my English boyfriend, and we got married and have two sons. While our children were small, I helped my husband with his business which involved filming for Japanese television companies. However, I’ve always loved art and enjoyed visiting museums and galleries. London is an amazing city from that perspective.
