Maria Murtagh Handmade Stoneware Ceramics - I have been a potter for over 40 years and have loved every minute of the journey. I make domestic ware with love to be used and enjoyed. All my work is stoneware fired to 1280 which means that it is ovenproof and dishwasher and microwave safe. I also use food safe glazes. I make a wide range of ware including mugs, jugs, bowls, vases , colanders and teapots. I also accept commissions for special pieces, for example wedding bowls which can be personalised. I regularly make work for exhibitions which are usually decorated with script using favourite poems, songs or prose. I have participated in many exhibitions including the annual Society of Women Artists.
