Collection: Barbara Jorgensen

My ceramics are both functional and decorative and the inspiration for my work is generally taken from the natural world around me. I frequently collect grasses and plants on my way to the studio which may be used during the course of the day. The foliage I select dictates the shapes and forms and the use of etching into the glazes allows me to suggest the landscapes around me.
