Collection: Kevin J. Williams

Kevin J. Williams was born in Ealing. He studied at the Byam Shaw School of Art (1978-79), then Goldsmiths College (University of London) 1979-83: BA Hons in Fine Art & PGCE. From 1983-85 he taught Art, Film & Photography at White Hart Lane Secondary School, Wood Green N22. From 1985-93 he ran the community darkrooms at the Masbro Centre, London W14. A published author, with an extensive background in the British Childcare and Criminal Justice systems, Kevin’s painting side was resurrected in 2021 after a hiatus of 30 years. His current paintings explore perspective, colour and symbolism, focussing on two icons - the Ankh and the Akua Ba - both venerated, sacred and with strikingly similar geometry.
